Residential - New build

New build projects are often incredibly daunting schemes to begin with. With many years of experience on a wealth of projects we aim to work closely with you and shed light on every aspect of your project. It is our ambition to not only take away the daunting nature of a large project like this, but to transform it into an enjoyable and exciting experience.

We feel the same level of excitement as we did from our very first new built residence and drive forward with the same sense of responsibility. As a practice we focus on crisp, modern architecture that engages with you at every stage in the process. Nothing is off limits and we want you to experience the joy or design. We have designed a helicopter landing pad on a cantilevered house, a zip wire from a two storey terrace into a swimming pool and blown up parts of a mountain in Norway with explosives so we are as adventurous as it takes to realise your dreams. 

Residential - Extensions

Whilst we focus on contemporary design, it is vital to take each project as a unique opportunity to create beautiful pieces of design and space that work with the clients, site and existing buildings. This often leads to a greater number of design constraints, but as a result a greater number of design solutions. We have much experience in all types of interesting schemes, from Grade II listed buildings to working in Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB's) right through to working in densely populated areas with limited access.

Education sector

The early stages in Andy's career was working within the education sector within Cambridge City Centre. It was here where he honed his craft and delighted in providing the stakeholders new specialist education buildings where the spirit of education, progression and learning could be implemented to the new generations. It was fantastically rewarding and a genuine difference was made.

The knowledge and approach to these highly specialist spaces in dynamic environments has enriched the philosophy of the practice and helps ground true meaning in what we do on a daily basis. 

Design - Interiors & furniture

We believe interior design is just another facet of a comprehensive architectural scheme. Architecture is not isolated from interiors, and interiors should not be approached without a deep understanding of the architectural rationale. It is for this reason we provide a strong interior steering when working with the brief developed with you.

 

We also have some very talented interior designers who we can collaborate closely with; should a more detailed interior scheme be required. We have worked with these interior specialists for many years and truly have an appreciation for each others craft and approach.
